The Spirit 1.0 from ePropulsion is designed for dinghies, inflatables rafts and sailing yachts up to 1500 kg and is comparable in thrust to a 3hp gasoline outboard. The removable lithium polymer battery mounted in the head of the motor offers a 2 times longer travel time with a battery charge than many other electric motors. The motor is very quiet, safe to use and maintenance-free. The motor can be easily transported, it weighs only 10.6 kg without a battery, the battery about the same amount. An integrated on-board computer shows the battery status.
